Motorcycles International Tour of the Green March

The Royal Motorcycle Club is planning the International Green March Tour, which will take place from November 3 to November 25, 2024, with the theme "The Moroccan Sahara through Arab Eyes," The tour will begin in Laayoune and travel through the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, and the Moroccan Sahara. There are seven stages on the tour:

Stage One: Saudi Arabia

Stage Two: The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

Stage Three: The State of Kuwait

Stage Four: The Kingdom of Bahrain

Stage Five: The State of Qatar

Stage Six: The Sultanate of Oman

The final stage: The United Arab Emirates

Hicham Bennani, President of the Royal Motorcycle Club, stated that the purpose of organizing this tour is to commemorate the anniversary of the Green March, which represents a significant historical event in Morocco’s history with Arab nations. The tour also aims to strengthen ties between Morocco and the international community through cultural, touristic, and sports interaction, contributing to stronger relations between peoples.

Situated in the southern region of Morocco, Laâyoune is the biggest city in the Western Sahara. It has played a significant role in the geopolitical history of the Western Sahara region and is the administrative center of the Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra region.
